Greenville provides a wealth of things to do for residents and visitors alike. Here are some activities and places that we recommend.
Falls Park on the Reedy: Located in downtown Greenville, Falls Park on the Reedy offers breathtaking views, lots of trails to traverse, and plenty of sculptures to marvel at. The park also offers views of 40-foot-tall waterfalls, giving you the perfect opportunity to spend an afternoon outdoors without having to leave the city.
BBQ Tour: Greenville has some spectacular BBQ joints that you will definitely want to check out, including Henry’s Smokehouse, Bucky’s BBQ, and Mike & Jeff’s BBQ. Get a taste of all three by going on a BBQ tour that takes place weekly.
Swamp Rabbit Trail: This 10-mile trail is perfect for both casual and enthusiastic cyclists. It’s built on an old, unused part of the Greenville & Northern Railway track, allowing you to wind through the surrounding hills, wetlands, and wildflowers before coming back to the city.
West End Historic District: This historic district in the city is going through a contemporary revival, so stroll its streets to see beautiful old houses being restored to their former glory and grab a bite to eat at a new local restaurant.
